1. just because you’re an upperclassman now doesn’t mean you can boss the underclassman around
2. don’t hate the freshman. yes, they’re annoying, but you don’t have to be mean to them to their faces
3. it’s always good to get a head start on college apps
4. you don’t have to go to prom
5. don’t procrastinate.. it’ll come back and bite you in the ass
6. study hard
7. stay focused, but don’t let the work load overwhelm you
8. take! the! ACT! or! SAT! you’ll have a better chance of getting into college (if you want to go)
9. don’t get premature senioritis
10. meet with your guidance counselor when necessary.. they’ll help you a lot, especially with college related stuff
11. ask for letters of recommendations earlier rather than later
12. make time for your friends and family. junior year can be stressful, but don’t get so caught up in school related stuff that you forget to spend quality time with the ones you love
13. make sure you have time for your hobbies. don’t put them on the back burner because of school work
14. mental health days are important. if you’re stressed to the max, ask to take a day off to destress and chill for a day. it’s worth it
15. and finally, no matter how hard things get, you’ll get through it. it’s going to be okay
